...more sweet than bitter, bitter than sweet.
So today was a not-so-fun day. I arrived to work early only to be told that I was being laid off. My company lost a
client last month and with July being slow, my boss just could no longer afford me.
But, like the title says, I believe this to be bittersweet. Sure, I now have tighten the purse strings and start the exhausting search for a new job, but at the same time, I was not happy where I was. I was beginning to settle and I never want to settle for anything in life. After a year-and-a-half, it was time for me to go. I'll take the the new skills and experience my job and my boss have provided me and apply them in a position where I can be happier. This situation just forces me to search that much harder for a new job.
