I Finally Shaved My Head

After months of talking about it, I finally shaved my head. Many people were asking me on Facebook why I chose to do this.

1.) I had an agreement with my friend Jeremey that if he shaved his head, I would shave mine (not really thinking he would ever do it). Though he shaved his a couple months ago, I still had not and had to finally man-up.

2.) It was time, if not beyond that time. My hairline had finally crossed over to that point of no return.

Getting is shaved off was quite a big deal for me. I've always liked to have differently styled hair from long to short to spiky to flat and often change the color. Now it's just one style and color: gone. My friend Carrie drove me to get it shaved and to assist in moral support (I came close to passing out in the chair). Of course too big of a deal was made than should have been, but I haven't had my head shaved since I was 7-years old.

Though I'm starting to get used to it, I still get startled when I walk by mirrors.
